The Pros & Cons of a Wall Mounted Television in the Bathroom
Because a mounted television does not cover as much area as a television on a stand, it is an ideal space saver. Both small screen and large screen televisions can be mounted.
Types
Mounts that swivel work best for small televisions, especially if the television will be angled at different directions in the room. Larger flat screen televisions (if they are no bigger than 28 inches) can be supported with swivel mounts. More secure mounts, which are screwed into the wall, are best for stability.
Pros
If a person is hoping to save space, then using a wall mount for the television is recommended. A person who spends a lot of time in the bathroom would find a wall-mounted television useful.
Cons
If steam, which is essentially water, is created in the bathroom, it could damage the internal electronics of the television. Depending on the size of the bathroom, a television could also crowd the space and cause injury if not secured.
