Sanus Wall Mount

Purchasing a new LCD TV gives your home entertainment center a more up-to-date or futuristic look, especially if you plan to mount it on the wall. Ensure that you have all materials required to properly mount the LCD TV on the wall before you start.

Instructions

Remove the screws from the mounting holes on the back of your television.

Install the mounting bars on the back of the television with the screws, gaskets and bolts that came with your mounting kit.

Use a stud finder to locate studs in your wall and determine where to place the back part of the mount based on your findings. Take into consideration the proximity of the television to electrical and cable outlets when determining the location of the mount.

Use a pencil to outline the location of the mount, and use a level to ensure that your lines are straight.

Hold the back mounting plate on the wall in line with the sketches you made and put in a few nails to hold it into place while you screw in the main bolts. Double-check to ensure the back of the mount is level before driving in the bolts.

Attach the included cables to the television and test them to ensure they work.

Hang the television with the help of a friend, and connect the mounting devices on the television and the wall.
