Sanus Wall Mount

While TV sets differ, the process for mounting one to a wall is standard. Every wall mounted TV comes with a mounting kit. The wall mount is secured to a wall stud and the TV is hung in the wall mount. Large TVs may have to use 2 mounting plates and 2 wall studs. Once the wall mount is secured to the wall stud, the TV rests on support bars connected to the wall mount.

Instructions

Run the stud finder over the area to which you want the TV mounted. Once the red lights light up, the stud finder is over the stud. Mark that area with a pen.

Attach the TV's mounting plate to the wall stud by using the power drill to screw the support screws into the wall, securing the wall mount to the wall stud.

Slide the support rails onto the upper metal lip of the wall mount. Connect the support hooks on the back of the TV to the support rails on the wall mount.
